postcard theater is a film screening program organized by nathan rickard and myself. this first series, shown at bruce in chinatown, los angeles, presented four screenings throughout the month of august in dialogue with select works by german filmmaker peter nestler.¹ designed materials include overall program identity, posters, handpainted postcards, handpainted signs, and a website. postcards were mailed to friends and family in california, and the screenings were open to all and free to attend.
