set of five silkscreen posters showcasing the typeface k.73r, designed from 2021–2023 and released through public type earlier this year. the posters demonstrate the formal range of the typeface, and its ability to function as body and display text as well as graphic art. included in the set is lilly reich’s essay ‘questions of fashion’ from die form: monatsschrift für gestaltende arbeit (1922), addressing the problem of craftsmanship and aesthetic form in the age of modernism and the machine, with an introduction by robin schuldenfrei from west 86th, volume 21 no. 1(2014).¹ printed by hand in my home in altadena.
