founded by artist brooke grabiec, the glass house is part fashion house, part creative studio and research space. our work together started with the website and quickly grew to encompass the surrounding visual world: overarching typographic system, packaging, postcards, labels and tags, etc. a focus of the identity is the personal aspect of brooke’s work, drawing on her biography and appearing in imagery used across design materials: family pictures, objects of personal meaning in brooke’s home gathered and photographed, references to hotel stationery collected by the artist, among others. the typesetting, in liberty and engravers gothic, is a formal hybrid of traditional and new to reflect the philosophy of the studio.¹
