this book is the first in a new publishing venture by kristina kite gallery. the custom drawn publisher’s mark uses the typeface and method of geometric modification of the overall gallery identity, reinterpreted for the format of a book. the large size and digital offset print on vellum stock reflect the feel of the drawings themselves, while the foldouts allow the viewer to experience select works at almost 1:1 scale.

set in františek štorm’s jannon antiqua, the early baroque letters of jean jannon contrast with the stark grid structure of the drawings, and provide a solid foundation for future editions.¹
